GSG Offers February, March Educational Classes

GSG, Dallas, offers regular monthly classes at its five regional locations.

Classes scheduled for February and March include:

Feb. 12
Intro to Embroidery
Dallas
Learn successful embroidery techniques on a wide range of fabrics and materials, as well as how to select the proper stabilizer, needle and hoop.

Feb. 13
Advanced Embroidery
Dallas
Learn how to digitize personal embroidery designs in this one-day class. In addition to learning stitch types, artwork requirements and how to create production friendly designs, the class also will cover appliqué and 3-D foam.

Feb. 19
Sign Comp
Tulsa, Okla.
Join the experts at SignComp and learn how a variety of time-saving products can make your shop a more efficient and well-oiled machine. Also, learn about commercial cabinets, flex shape tensioning, post/panel assembly and light-box assembly.

Intro to Screen Printing

This class will walk attendees through the screen printing start-up process in a step-by-step method. Using a combination of lectures and hands-on training, the instructor will cover film options, screen making, inks, press setup and registration, printing techniques and troubleshooting.

March 5-6
Auto Wrap
Tulsa, Okla.
Get started in the vehicle wrap market with this two-day class, which will be taught by Jeff Wagner, a 3M-certified installer. Topics will include design, choosing materials and surface prep. Day two will include a full-wrap install.

Heat Transfer Materials
Dallas
Learn about heat transfer materials. Gain knowledge about the industry, decorating techniques, substrate examples and more, including equipment and layering effects.
