Essent Corp., Easton, Pa., recently made contributions to two promotional products non-profit organizations.
The technology solutions provider donated $1,500 to education and mentorship organization PromoKitchen. Essent also provided $1,000 to the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) college scholarship organization as a sponsor of the PPEF Glen Holt Scholarship Invitational, which was held during the 2016 PPAI Expo.
In addition to the PromoKitchen donation, Essent served as lead sponsor for the organization’s No Excuses World Tour Mixer,which was held at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay during the 2016 PPAI Expo.
PromoKitchen, an all-volunteer organization founded in 2011, pairs industry veterans with newcomers through a mentorship program and generates discussion on best practices through its various online platforms.
The PPEF provides college scholarships to promotional products industry employees and their children. Since its inception in 1989, PPEF has awarded $1,417,000 in college scholarships to 850 students.
