alphabroder Acquires Commonwealth Cotton

Commonwealth Cotton, Watertown, Mass., was recently acquired by alphabroder, Trevose, Pa.

According to Norm Hullinger, CEO of alphabroder, Commonwealth Cotton will help the company better serve customers throughout New England and beyond.

“Commonwealth Cotton has built an outstanding business through developing the right assortment of products and excellent customer focus,” Hullinger says. “These tenets align very well with alphabroder’s commitment to product assortment, deep inventory and outstanding customer service. The two businesses will immediately complement each other.”

David Cramer, founder and president of Commonwealth Cotton, will join alphabroder in a senior sales position.

Commonwealth Cotton will continue to operate in its existing facility, with an eventual relocation to alphabroder’s Middleboro, Mass., facility. — D.S.
