Insta Graphic Systems, Cerritos, Calif., recently received two 2019 Product of the Year awards from Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), Fairfax, Va.
The Insta 288 heat press was selected as Product of the Year in the “Heat Press (Tabletop)” category. It is a manual swing-away heat press with 20″ x 25″ platens. It can be used in the sublimation market because of the oversized platen and its ability to generate even temperature and pressure across the entire platen, which is essential for sublimation transfer application, according to the company.
Insta’s SiliconeX custom heat transfer was selected as Product of the Year in the “Media-Heat Transfer Printable” category. SiliconeX is compatible with performancewear, industrial workwear and leisure apparel. It offers stretch, durability and abrasion resistance, and is RSL and Lab Wash tested. Also, SiliconeX can be applied at a temperature setting as low as 285°F.
