OrderMyGear, Dallas, recently announced that Matt Kaplan has been promoted to senior vice president of revenue.

In this newly created role, Kaplan will oversee the acquisition of new business, manage the success of the more than 2,500 clients, continue to build relationships with industry partners and implement operational efficiencies, according to the company. He will be accountable for the company’s client experience and will oversee OrderMyGear’s business development, sales and customer-success teams.

Kaplan has more than 17 years of experience in the sporting goods industry. He began his career at Under Armour in 2002, eventually becoming the company’s director of team sports in 2012.

“Kaplan’s industry experience, combined with his track record for running successful teams, makes him the perfect fit to lead OMG’s revenue arm as we enter this next phase in our industry,” says Dave Dutch, OrderMyGear CEO.

Kaplan joined OrderMyGear as head of enterprise sales in May 2018 and was promoted to vice president of customer success in January 2019.

“OrderMyGear has brought technology to historically underserved markets in a way that simplifies and grows businesses as well as bringing a modern buying experience to the end consumer,” Kaplan says. “I’m honored to be part of the team and am eager to take part in furthering the technology, innovation and competitive edge of the entire industry.” — D.S.
