San Donà di Piave, Venice, Italy–Atlantis Headwear, has announced the launch of their 2024 headwear collection.
In an ongoing mission to minimize the company’s carbon footprint, Atlantis Headwear remains steadfast in selecting eco-conscious materials. The 2024 collection showcases the company’s unwavering dedication to responsible materials over conventional ones.
The new headwear styles are crafted from 100-percent recycled polyester, also known as rPET. rPET is produced by transforming used plastic bottles into tiny pellets, which are then crushed and melted. The molten plastic is extruded and stretched into thread, forming the basis for these sustainable caps.
In comparison to virgin polyester, rPET requires 62-percent less energy for production, reducing the overall carbon footprint. Additionally, the use of recycled polyester contributes to a 16-percent decrease in CO2 emissions, playing a crucial role in combating climate change and preventing plastic pollution.

“Our journey towards sustainability is a continuous evolution, and the 2024 collection marks another milestone in that pursuit, says Federico Pasini, vice president of Atlantis Headwear. “We are proud to lead the way in offering stylish, eco-conscious headwear options to our customers.”
