InkSoft, Tempe, Ariz., and Printavo, Chicago, have been acquired by investment capital fund Blue Star Innovation Partners and growth equity firm PSG.
Subscribers will continue to have access to the same InkSoft platform. The acquisition will allow InkSoft and Printavo to accelerate the development and launch of new features and enhancements, according to JP Hunt, co-founder and president, InkSoft.
There will be no significant changes in the short term, with regular updates and insights being shared as this new partnership and journey develops, according to both companies.
Blue Star Innovation Partners was founded in 2017 by entrepreneur and investor Rob Wechsler and Jerry Jones, owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys. PSG, founded in 2014, partners with middle-market software and technology-enabled services companies to help them navigate transformational growth, capitalize on strategic opportunities and build strong teams. — D.S.
