Irvine, California—Roland DGA has announced the North American availability of its new EU-1000MF, a robust, high-volume UV flatbed printer that combines outstanding image quality with productivity, versatility and reliability.
Capable of printing vibrant, detailed graphics directly onto a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates, including sheets up to 48 inches to 96 inches in size, the EU-1000MF enables print providers to maximize their opportunities and profits, according to the company.
The features and functionality of the EU-1000MF make it ideal for a wide range of applications, including the creation of signs, displays, interior décor, and specialty products. It’s built to take full advantage of Roland DG’s specially formulated, GREENGUARD Gold-certified E-US UV inks, which were developed specifically for this printer. These high-density, cost-effective inks produce vibrant prints on PETG, PVC board, wood, corrugated board, aluminum plate, and many other materials. The EU-1000MF is offered with a choice of ink configurations—6-color (CMYK + high-opacity White + Gloss) or 4-color (CMYK only).
Users have the option of choosing from multiple versions of the EU-1000MF available with either six or four printheads in a staggered, two-row configuration (offered at different price points). Both versions feature two selectable print modes, standard or high quality, to suit varying media and production needs. For precision printing, the EU-1000MF is equipped with a Four-Zone Electronic Vacuum Bed that automatically adds air suction and support to maximize media stability. Consistent placement of boards and panels is ensured by Media Alignment Pins that pop up at the touch of a button for automatic print alignment to the origin point. Other noteworthy features include a Liquid-Cooled LED Lamp System for longer lamp life and faster curing, a Print Head Protection System that detects media collision, a White Ink Agitation System, a Side Table Control Station for convenient machine management, and a Four-Quadrant Safety Emergency Stop System for increased safety.
