S&S Activewear Appoints Enrique Escalona as Vice President and General Manager of Canada

Former Bimbo Canada executive brings more than two decades of commercial and operational leadership experience as S&S Activewear expands its investment in the Canadian market

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. — S&S Activewear has appointed Enrique Escalona as vice president and general manager of Canada, a move the company says reinforces its commitment to long-term growth and customer support across the Canadian market.

Escalona joins S&S with more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning commercial operations, sales management and business strategy across Canada and Mexico. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s Canadian business, leading strategy, execution and operational alignment as S&S continues to invest in leadership, customer experience and growth initiatives throughout the region.

Leadership Experience Across North America

Most recently, Escalona served as vice president of national field sales at Bimbo Canada, where he led a national sales organization and a large network of independent distributors serving customers across multiple channels. Throughout his career, he has focused on optimizing commercial operations, aligning cross-functional teams and improving customer engagement.

At S&S, Escalona will be responsible for advancing the company’s strategic priorities in Canada, strengthening alignment across North American operations and ensuring customers continue to receive high levels of service and support.

Supporting Continued Growth in Canada

Escalona succeeds Craig Ryan, who recently announced his retirement after helping lead the growth and development of S&S’s Canadian business.
