Long renowned for its screen-printing equipment, M&R is fast becoming an increasingly important player in the digital-decorating space as well. As evidence of this fact, look no further than the company’s impressive new Quatro Direct-to-Film (DTF) System, which debuted at Impressions Long Beach 2024, an all-in-one DTF printer that does everything from print your designs onto the requisite film to apply and cure the necessary adhesive with the help of a fully integrated high-efficiency infra-red drying system. Printing is accomplished via a battery of industrial-quality Epson i3200 print heads. The adhesive application system includes an onboard bulk powder adhesive reservoir to promote the system’s continuous operation; a pair of base-mounted trays to capture any and all excess powder for reuse; an exhaust filtration system; and continuous temperature monitoring. When the Quatro is finished doing its thing, all you need to do is cut out the transfer (or transfers) you’re planning on applying and press. For more information, visit mrprint.com/quatro.
