Roland DGA Corp., Irvine, Calif., recently announced that its Eco-Sol MAX and Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks, and WallFlair removable fabric have received GREENGUARD Gold UL 2818 certification from UL Environment.
GREENGUARD Gold Certification provides assurance that these products meet standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds into indoor air. The certification also includes safety factors to account for sensitive individuals, such as children and the elderly, and ensures a product is acceptable for use in environments like schools and hospitals.
“People spend 90% of their time indoors, which is why healthier indoor spaces are so critical,” says Sara Greenstein, president of UL Environment. “We commend Roland’s GREENGUARD Certification as a demonstration of their commitment to the health of their consumers and their consumers’ families.”
Because Roland’s Eco-Sol MAX, Eco-Sol MAX 2 and WallFlair removable fabric meet chemical emissions limits, they aid in the creation of healthier interior environments by reducing indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure, according to the company.
