WELLAND, Ontario — As sticker sales continue to grow, print providers are increasingly looking for ways to reduce manual production bottlenecks while improving the online ordering experience. Great Signs & Graphics says a recent automation investment helped accomplish both.
The Canadian print and graphics company implemented Sticker Builder from Antigro Designer, a web-to-print customization platform designed to automate sticker ordering, proof generation, and file preparation. According to the company, the move has already reduced manual workload, improved production speed, and helped drive higher customer conversion rates.
Sticker Sales Growth Creates Workflow Challenges
Great Signs & Graphics offers a broad mix of print services, including signage, banners, business cards, promotional products, vehicle graphics, and custom stickers through its Stick-R-Guy brand. Sticker offerings range from standard die-cut products to holographic, reflective, transparent, bumper stickers, sticker sheets, and roll labels.
As demand increased, so did the operational burden.
Before implementation, the company’s workflow relied heavily on manual proof creation, repeated customer revisions, and back-and-forth email communication—slowing fulfillment while driving up labor costs.
Web-to-Print Automation Reduces Manual Design Work
To scale sticker sales more efficiently, Great Signs & Graphics adopted Sticker Builder, integrating the tool through a WooCommerce plugin that required minimal development work.
“During the implementation of Sticker Builder, the team were incredibly helpful and understanding throughout the entire process,” said Dennis Rogers, president and co-owner of Great Signs & Graphics. “They responded to our emails quickly, clarified any doubts, and advised us on how to implement the tool to achieve the best results for our company.”
The automation allows customers to upload artwork, preview finished sticker designs instantly, and place orders without waiting for manual approvals.
That shift enables print-ready files to move directly into production.
Faster Production and Better Conversion Rates
The company says the impact became visible within months.
Brianne Robinson, shop manager and lead graphic designer, said repetitive production prep tasks—including revisions, cut line setup, and file adjustments—have been significantly reduced.
“Now, files come to us ready and perfectly prepared for printing, which significantly streamlines the entire process,” Robinson said.
According to Great Signs & Graphics, instant previews and simplified ordering also help reduce abandoned purchases by giving customers greater confidence in the final product before checkout.
Why This Matters for Print Shops Selling Online
For decorators and print providers expanding into e-commerce personalization, this case study reflects a broader industry trend: replacing manual proof-heavy workflows with automated customization tools.
Sticker printing often presents strong margin potential—but only when production processes are efficient enough to scale.
For shops managing high volumes of custom labels, decals, or promotional stickers, automation platforms like Sticker Builder may help reduce labor costs while improving customer experience.
