One of the finest traditions of all three Impressions Expos is the live poster printing activation organized by the Ink Kitchen. Over the years, the Ink Kitchen, in collaboration with Spurrier Design and veteran screen printers Andy MacDougall and Brian Potash, has created a host of memorable designs—and raised thousands of dollars for local charity in the process.

A hallmark of the posters has been the way they draw on local themes. The beach and boardwalk, for example, featured prominently in the poster created for the Atlantic City, New Jersey, expo earlier this year, while posters for the Long Beach event have included everything from the Queen Mary to rapper Snoop Dogg.
For this year’s Dallas Impressions Expo poster, graphic design Alyx Spurrier has put a cowboy front and center. This comes in the wake of road runner getting the nod in 2025.
At press time, the Ink Kitchen’s Rick Roth said the 2026 Dallas effort had already raised $10,000 for local charity. The Ink Kitchen suggests a $10 donation for posters attendees may wish to take home with them as a souvenir of this year’s expo.
