Dyenomite Apparel Awarded for Job-Creation Efforts

Published: October 31, 2013

Dyenomite Apparel, Hilliard, Ohio, recently received Inc. magazine’s Hire Power award for increasing its work force by about 50%.

The awards are distributed annually to private companies across the country that are leading the way in creating American jobs. Dyenomite joins a list that includes past winners, such as Otterbox, Chobani, GoDaddy.com and Urban Decay Cosmetics.

“Our product requires a lot of physical labor,” says Mike Campbell, co-owner of Dyenomite. “We compete against companies who outsource their work in order to keep costs low. We decided to invest in our Hilliard, Ohio, plant, allowing us to be nimble and touch a lot of lives locally. It may not be a get-rich-quick strategy, but I believe it pays off over the long haul”.
