Polyconcept, New Kensington, Pa., has hired two key senior management members to its executive team.
Willem van Walt Meijer joins Polyconcept to lead the company’s newly created international markets division, while Marc L. Brown assumes the role of interim global chief information officer.
In his role as managing director of Polyconcept international markets, van Walt Meijer will be operating from the company’s Hong Kong office. This new division aims to build relationships with suppliers and stock keepers in markets outside of North America and Europe. Prior to joining Polyconcept, van Walt Meijer served as CEO of industry supplier Mid Ocean Brands.
Brown joins Polyconcept following a career as chief information officer for both Heinz North America and Del Monte Foods. He will be responsible for ensuring the company’s global IT platform supports the long-term strategic initiatives being implemented by the senior leadership team, and he will be based out of the New Kensington, Pa.
