Perry Ellis Intl. Inc., Miami, has expanded its license agreement with Lyn De Mexico S.A. De C.V., granting rights under the Original Penguin by Munsingwear brand in Mexico. The agreement includes men’s and boy’s loungewear, sleepwear, pajamas and robes, packaged underwear, briefs, boxers, shorts, T-shirts and handkerchiefs.
“Original Penguin appeals to a style savvy consumer,” says Oscar Feldenkreis, president and chief operating officer of Perry Ellis Intl. “Recently we launched The Earl 2.0 and the P55 Chino and we will continue making the necessary investments to assure Original Penguin’s status as a premier global apparel brand.”
The Original Penguin by Munsingwear loungewear will be launched in department stores and specialty stores in fall 2015. The brand sells product internationally through company-owned retail stores, major retailers and specialty stores, as well as on originalpenguin.com and originalpenguin.co.uk.
