S&S Activewear, Bolingbrook, Ill., has announced the appointment of Matt O’Connor as its national vice president of sales.
O’Connor will use his sales-management experience to further develop the national sales team and continue elevating the customer experience, according to the company.
He has more than 17 years of experience in the apparel industry, most recently with Gildan Activewear as director of sales administration with its Global Lifestyle Brands business. He also previously served as vice president of sales administration at Anvil Knitwear. Prior to his years with Gildan and Anvil, O’Connor was with a national apparel wholesaler for 10 years in various sales management and operations positions.
