GSG Inc., Dallas, recently announced that it has acquired The PAS Store from the Industrial Products Division of Brother International Corporation.
As Brother continues to grow in the industrial direct-to-garment (DTG) equipment sector, the company made a strategic decision to shift its focus away from commercial embroidery and heat applied vinyl consumables, according to the company.
“When we made the decision, we wanted to find a distributor that would provide a high level of service to our customers,” says Mark Bagley, director of marketing for Brother. “With over 70 years of experience in the Apparel Decorating industry, we are confident that GSG is the distributor best qualified for this acquisition.”
In addition to embroidery and heat transfer, GSG’s product offering includes electrical and commercial sign, digital graphics and apparel decorating.
“Acquiring Brother’s PAS Store furthers our commitment to the embroidery market,” says Mark Granberry, president of GSG. “Combining the brands and products Brother was selling with GSG’s lineup will give customers more options. With GSG’s service excellence, this acquisition will be a win for all embroidery customers.”
In the coming weeks, PAS Store customers will have the opportunity to create an account with GSG in order to shop the online store at GoGSG.com and receive promotional messages specific to embroidery and heat transfer products. — D.S.
