Ryonet Announces Summer of Printing for Positivity Contest

Ryonet Corp., Vancouver, Wash., announced the Summer of Printing for Positivity contest, which will award up to $6,000 worth of screen-printing equipment and supplies to winners.

With a first-place prize of a Riley Hopkins 300six-color/six-station press, the competition is Ryonet’s way of thanking its fans and customers for their support and encouraging their efforts to “pay it forward” to others, according to the company. The second- and third-place prizes are a Green Galaxy water-based Pantone mixing kitand a DIY T-shirt kit,respectively. Each prize also includes a case of Allmade shirts.

Entry into the contest requires submitting a 90-second cell-phone video explaining why the participant deserves the Riley 300 press, how it would be used to give back and also share the person’s best Ryonet experience. The deadline for entries is July 9 at 11 p.m. PDT.

Judges for the contest include Ryonet CEO Ryan Moor; Amy Baker, Threadbare Print House owner and art director; Sandilake Clothing founder Mel Lay; and entrepreneur, creator and industry activist for positive community change Travis “The Featherhawk” Snyder. Winners will be notified via email on July 13, with an official announcement made on Ryonet’s social-media channels.

The contest is open to legal residents of the United States age 18 or older and no purchase is required. Ryonet and Allmade retain rights to use any video entered in the giveaway, according to the company.
