Legacy Introduces New Headwear Styles and Colors for 2024

Published: June 21, 2024

Sportsman Cap & Bag has announced the launch of a number of new styles for its Legacy product line, a brand “synonymous with premium and superior-fitting headwear for over 30 years.”

Known for its iconic vintage-inspired designs, over the years Legacy has built a formidable reputation in the collegiate market and has since expanded into resort and destination, corporate, and golf segments.

According to Sportsman Cap & Bag, “Legacy has grown its collection to offer customers an even wider array of choices. From fresh designs that could become the next ‘new favorite’ to new hues in the beloved ‘Old Favorite’ [category], there’s something for every customer.”

Trucker Caps, Sustainable Materials

Among the new styles and colors impacted are the OFA (Old Favorite Trucker), a classic trucker available in over 40 colors, with five brand new options; the MPS (Mid-Pro Structured) cap, a mesh-back cap featuring fine-gauge canvas and available in 39 vibrant colors, including 10 new hues; and the REMPA (Reclaim Mid-Pro Adjustable) cap, a structured, eco-friendly cap made of 100-percent recycled polyester and featuring a moisture- wicking sweatband and laser cut ventilation.

Legacy was established in 1992 by two law school roommates seeking a better-fitting, higher-quality cap than those available at their school bookstore. Their efforts led to the creation of a retro- inspired, low-crown baseball cap. The product line has since expanded to include a variety of vintage-casual headwear styles.

“Legacy has been a staple in the headwear industry for over three decades. They’ve remained true to their vintage- inspired collegiate roots but aren’t afraid to deliver on-trend colors and shapes. They’ve mastered combining timeless appeal and modern innovation,” says Sportsman Cap & Bag President & CEO, Dan Saferstein.
