STAHLS’ Enhances Hotronix Threadable LowRider Heat Press

Updated heat press adds easier garment positioning, improved platen access and an expanded four-platen kit for greater decorating versatility
Published: September 3, 2026

STAHLS’ has introduced enhancements to its Hotronix Threadable LowRider Heat Press, adding features designed to simplify garment positioning, platen changes and small-placement heat-transfer applications.

Central to the updated design is a threadable lower platen, which allows decorators to slide garments onto the platen and position the print area more easily. The added access can be particularly useful when working around seams, buttons, zippers and other garment construction elements that can interfere with consistent heat application.

The redesigned press also provides bottom platen access, allowing operators to change platens more quickly and potentially reduce downtime between different applications and garment sizes.

Expanded Platen Options Increase Versatility

Along with the updated press design, the Hotronix Threadable LowRider now includes an expanded platen kit featuring four interchangeable platens at no additional cost.

The additional platen options give decorators greater flexibility when producing smaller or more difficult-to-position applications and make it easier to adapt the press for different garment styles and print locations.

According to STAHLS’, the enhancements are intended to help decorators improve efficiency and print-placement accuracy while expanding the range of applications they can produce. The upgraded features are being offered while maintaining the press’s existing price.
