Azon, Zagreb, Croatia, has introduced Mirage, a new advanced generation of its wide-format direct-to-garment (DTG) printers.
Mirage’s large format allows printing on a wide range of materials, such as silk, cotton, polyester and more. An advanced, fully automated dual-platen system enables long-run production on a wide range of textile applications and finished garments, including T-shirts, sleeves, jeans, caps, aprons, sheets, dresses and cloth panels, according to the company.
Maximum resolution is up to 1,440 dpi. Additional features include an improved LCD touchscreen, larger ink cartridges and new software solution Azon RIP.
Also, unlike the previous generation with belt system, this machine has a servo motor and ball-screw system, enabling the forward-backward movement of the printed object with maximum accuracy, according to the company.
