Kornit Digital, Ratingen, Germany, has unveiled the Allegro roll-to-roll industrial textile printing system, the only standalone, one-step, no-pretreatment digital printing solution, according to the company.
The system supports multiple fabric types for fashion, active and home-décor applications, and is based on Kornit’s NeoPigment printing technology that eliminates pre- and post-treatment processes for synthetic and natural fabrics.
The print engine, which allows for speeds up to 100 linear meters per hour, features print heads with a recirculating ink system and new algorithms for dynamic control of drop firing conditions, according to the company.
“Kornit Digital is globally acknowledged as the leading solution provider for industrial mass customization of printed textiles, says Guy Zimmerman, Kornit Digital’s vice president of marketing and business development. “Leveraging our leadership position and our great success in the direct-to-garment market, we are excited to expand our product offering to the roll-to-roll market. The addition of the Allegro is yet another step towards ‘Changing the way people print on textile.’”
