Graphics One LLC (GO), Burbank, Calif., has launched a new hybrid UV ink and curing system.
GO’s e-UV ink is a combination UV ink and eco carrier solution that combines the best of both technologies for either existing or new eco-solvent printers using EPSON print heads.
Offering superior color quality, high gloss, scratch resistance and adhesion up to 100 times better than traditional eco ink, GO’s e-UV ink dries instantly, and can be used immediately after the image is printed and cured, according to the company.
Additionally, the e-UV system has a small carbon footprint and does not include nickel in its yellow ink, making it an environmentally friendly product.
GO also offers a roll-up UV curing lamp, which consumes very little energy and lasts up to 10,000 hours.
The GO e-UV LampBar system starts at $4,995, and GO’s e-UV ink is priced at $120 for a 440-milileter cartridge.
