Vapor Apparel, Charleston, S.C., has introduced a new line of cut-and-sew apparel.
The product line includes styles for anglers, action sports, cycling, martial arts, hunting and sportsman, motocross and general team sports. All of the garments are made in United States.
In order to make a cut-and-sew garment, a digital design is printed on a roll of fabric. This design is cut into individual pieces and then sewn together. The result is a garment with a customized design, covering every inch of fabric. Cut-and-sew apparel decoration is popular among customers looking for complete customization.
“Digital sublimation is taking the decorated garment industry by storm,” says Christopher Bernat, Vapor Apparel’s chief revenue officer. “Our customers are demanding greater options for fully customizable apparel. With our new cut-and-sew services, they’re able to meet this demand while promoting domestic jobs, as all of our cut-and-sew garments are proudly ‘Made in the USA.’”
