Hirsch Hosts Open House at New Solutions Studio

Published: July 19, 2013

Hirsch Intl. Corp., Hauppauge, N.Y., hosted an open house June 7-8 at its new Solutions Studio in Charlotte, N.C.

Attendees had an opportunity to see a range of apparel decorating equipment in one place, ask questions and witness how automated the process of decorating apparel has become.

Several automation stations were set up to demonstrate how streamlined this capability makes the production process. Barcodes were scanned directly from Tajima embroidery machines, which then automatically sewed designs and any personalization onto a variety of products without the operator having to do anything but load the hooped garment and press the start button.

Demonstrations also were presented on a number of machines, including the Kornit Storm II digital printer, Seit Laser Bridge, Seit Performa 500 standalone laser and more. Visitors also received samples to take home.
