Luis Omar Viera recently used the Challenger III D J4 automatic screen printing press from M&R, Glen Ellyn, Ill., to break the record of number of T-shirts screen printed in one hour by a single operator.
Along with the Challenger III D J4 automatic screen printing press, Viera used M&R’s Passport automatic T-shirt unloader and M&R’s Fusion electric conveyor dryer to screen print 2,139 T-shirts in one hour at FESPA 2013, held this past June. This eclipsed the previous record of 1,909 screen printed T-shirts, also set by Viera at the 2010 Imprinted Sportswear Shows (ISS) event held in Fort Worth, Texas.
